Dear Mr Fu,
thank you for your email, enclosed please find the temporary address of the Werder Fan CLUB. I am myself a fan since childhood, originating from Bremen, live with family in Beijing since 1981, 30th anniversary on 3.02.2011.We founded this club just a week ago, why? Because I have realized that i saw many Werder trikots here in Beijing and other parts of China. Also because,i enjoy the stories about Werder, especially the international an particularly the national commentators, who always bring the spirit of Werder, Allofs, the coach Schaaf to the very point: Die Wundertuete Werder! ( "the suprise bag Werder"), almost lost game, as the recent return champions league game against Genua says it all. Coach Schaaf is not just a coach, he is a magican, as he always have a surprise move in readjusting the team. What is missing is the international approach and this is what i want to help ( a bit) to change.
We hve neither any rules yet, no admission fee setting, as we wait for Werder to approve us to use the Werder Logo the "Raute", which may take some time (legal proceedings). The idea is to find or create a bar , coffeshop, ( there is at least Frank's Place ,who has it, but to angloamerican minded, just focus on NFL etc.) but they have sky channel and what we want to create is to get a place, where we can watch regularly live the Werder Bundesliga and Champion league games l i v e.
Then , of course, and here we need a lot of help from Beijingers, we want to create a Website for the Fan Club, in German,English( for the numerous international Werder Fans here ( Sports Beijing has a lot of them) and , of course, in Chinese.
Up to last week the Fan Club had just the founding members, my younger son, my wife (chinese from Hong kong) and myself, now we "enlarged" to a Group of 6, still just Germans and all of them from the northern part of Germany, what we want, is to get a lot of chinese club members.
We have to create admission fees,as with the opening of the "club", fees are coming up. So far i do everything on my own account. But this is starting up "enthusiasm" only.
May i suggest, that you list all the fans who might be interested to join the Werder Club, add their email addresses, names , perhaps what they are doing,contact numbers, as we shall present to Werder a very fast , strong rising ( by cheer numbers) fan club. The focus is on chinese fans.
I just created the idea and used all the forms,provided by Werder,( their standard), but as the first chinese Fan club of Werder, it should be governed by chinese,so when the concept is standing and has the Werder symptoms, i shall pass the management to a chinese citizen.
My idea, once Werder Fan club is really established, we shall work on getting the team over here for friendship play against a chinese team , like against Dalian (Dalian and Bremen are sister cities), or Beijing or whatever is proposed.
I am by the way businesswise importer or broker for importers / distributors for the No. 1 infant milkpowder and babyfood supplier in Germany , plus i do business in heavy industry, steelplants, raw materials, shipbuilding etc.
