德国国家队夺冠能从国际足联和德国足协得到约合2.74亿人民币的奖金奖励。夺得世界杯冠军除了荣誉以外，还有巨额的奖金在等待着德国队。根据规定，冠军可以得到2570万欧元(约合2.1亿元人民币)，亚军也有1830万欧元(约合1.5亿元人民币)进账。此外，德国足协还对每位队员30万欧元、总额690万欧元的夺冠奖励，这两项奖金的总和高达3261万欧元，约合2.74亿人民币。

另外，德国队的几个主要赞助商还将提供不菲的奖金给球队，同时还有大批的商业活动在等待着队员们，算下来，德国队每名球员都可以让自己的钱包变得鼓鼓的。但德国队的球员们却并不在意这些，队长拉姆表示：“奖金？不，我们现在不会去考虑这些，冠军是最好的奖励。决赛不可能像半决赛那样，半场就打成5比0，但我们一直很有耐心，并最终获得金杯，这真是不可思议的感觉，是我职业生涯最高点。我第一次看世界杯是在1990年，那一年德国获得了冠军；而这一次，我们再次获得冠军，而且，我们是第一支在南美捧杯的欧洲球队。太不可思议！”
