: What do you need for a perfect holiday?
Nowitzki: \"Just the beach and the sea. We don抰 have either one in Germany. So whenever possible, I抣l try to go to a great beach, pack a book and have a good time.\"
Q: What other kind of sports would you like to be good at?
Nowitzki: \"I抎 love to be good at playing chess. I抳e been doing it for a while but not with great success. I抦 just moving around the chessmen a bit.\"
Q: What is a must in your fridge?
Nowitzki: \"Water. I really drink a lot of water as we sweat so much. Apart from that, there抯 not much in it ?just like it is the case with someone who is living on his own. Water and a few fruits, that抯 it.\"
Q: Is there anything you could add to an exotic flea market?
Nowitzki: \"Well, only my shoes. I imagine they must be pretty exotic in their big size. But I don抰 really have anything exotic.\"
Q: What抯 the biggest waste of time for you?
Nowitzki: \"Well, I try not to waste my time. Every day is precious.\"
Q: When was the last time you were proud of yourself?
Nowitzki: \"Well, I抦 never really proud of myself. Sure, sometimes you抮e more satisfied after a game. But, well, proud, that抯 for my father rather than me.\"
Q: What did you buy from your first regular income?
Nowitzki: \"Nothing for a while and then I bought a car over here.\"
Q: If you could change three things in your job, what would it be?
Nowitzki: \"Well, that抯 a tough question. I like my job the way it is. But I might cut down the regular season a bit ... 82 games are tough. I抎 shift the attention to the playoffs, but that抯 about all I would want to change.\"
Q: Being a top athlete, do you feel very privileged?
Nowitzki: \"I don抰 feel too privileged. Sure, people treat you a bit better every now and then when you go out. But basically, I抦 just like anyone else.\"
Q: How do you drive away gloomy thoughts?
Nowitzki: \"I don抰 have any.\"

Nowitzki: \"Don抰 know really, but it has been a while.\"
