I actually prefer Cacau .
And i do not want Kroos at that position. He is good but it doesnt mean he can play everywhere.
Kroos is not a right winger, and he has publilcly stated that he doesn't like to play at that position; he lacks pace/explosiveness to cross from deeper position; He doesn't have Muller's killer instinct, positioning and off-the-ball to make him a threat inside the penalty box, so we can only expect long shots from him when attack
Cacau is a completely different story, he has the pace and explosiveness; and he is a bigger threat inside the penalty box as his positioning, off-the-ball awareness is much better than Kroos
Our formation is originally a 4-2-3-1. But when attack, the two wingers can go forward and form a 4-3-3 instead. Cacau, just like Thomas Mueller n Podolski, is dangerous as a supporting striker. So i think Cacau should be the direct replacement of Muller in terms of style of game |
