The UEFA has decided to bring forward the Europa League game between Metalist Kharkiv and Bayer 04 this coming Thursday. The kick-off time has been changed from 10:05 PM local time (21:05 CET) to 6 PM local time (17:00 CET). The temperature in Kharkiv falls down to as low as minus 20 degrees at night. Through the icy wind the temperature feels even colder. The UEFA hopes the circumstances will be better in the late evening compared to at night. However, the meteorologists expect minus 11 degrees for Thursday

They won three matches, drew two and only lost to Eindhoven on own turf. Metalist’s stadium can host 41,000 spectators. Kharkiv is the second largest city in the Ukraine. Cristaldo (21) is an Argentinean U21 international who sat on the full team’s bench for the match against Costa Rica in January. The team will return to Leverkusen on Thursday night. Michael Ballack will stay at home for medical treatment and individual rehabilitation sessions.
