Both he and Shevchenko have played well in the last few games,\" praised Cech. <br/><br/>\"It has been proved that the only thing that limited them was acclimatisation.\" <br/><br/>Cech is unsure whether his knowledge of Ballack from Chelsea will come in useful this weekend, but he admits he would rather not face the German from the penalty spot. <br/><br/>\"It is a kind of advantage, but on the other hand he knows me too and I have never played against him,\" he explained. <br/><br/>\"It is hard to say for whom it will be better, but I see no problem in playing someone from Chelsea. <br/><br/>\"I think he would take a penalty as he has a good record with them. I hope there will be no penalty.\" <br/><br/>Germany and Czech Republic are in pole position to qualify for Euro 2008 from Group D but Cech insists it is a crucial game for his side. <br/><br/>He said: \"It is one of the key games. They are our biggest rivals, but we have the same number of points and are jointly leading the table. <br/><br/>\"We know two teams go through but we cannot rely on that. We have to try to beat Germany and top the group. <br/><br/>\"I think we have a 60-40 chance. The teams are of a similar quality and the home ground adds about 10 per cent to us.\" <br/><br/>Arsenal\'s Jens Lehmann is set to line up in the German goal and Cech has paid tribute to his opposite number. <br/><br/>\"He has had a consistent season and he has been keeping well for three seasons now,\" he hailed. \"On the pitch he gives 100 per cent to help his team to win.\"<br/>--<br/> |
