If there were, they almost got their wish: Redondo suffered a serious knee injury in pre-season training, and never played a game for Milan for over 2 years. Even when the marvels of modern sports medicine allowed him to come back and play his first game in Milan\'s red and black in the 2002/03 season, he was no longer the midfield maestro who wore Real Madrid\'s white shirt.

I know clubbamboo MM does not wish anything bad on Miro, but for her wish to be fulfilled, one of the following has to happen:

(1) clubbamboo MM quits watching football,

(2) Miro fails to win a starting place at Bayern and gets stuck on the bench, or

(3) what happened to Redondo happens to Miro.

I hope clubbamboo MM won\'t quit watching football, and I certainly hope Miro stays healthy and plays great to embarrass all those who doubt him or expect him to fail.

While I am not a big Miro fan like the MMs who posted under this topic, I admire and like Klose the player and Miro the man. While I am a long time Bayern fan (OK, you all can accuse me of being insensitive ;-) ), I also admire and like Bremen and have always wished them well (except when they play against Bayern, of course). I have seen Rummenigge in Inter\'s Blue and Black, I\'ve even seen Der Kaiser in a Hamburg shirt. But I live to talk about it, and never thought any less of them. (Yes, I am so old--and lucky enough to be born and raised in Hong Kong--that I\'ve seen Rummenigge at his prime, and have been lucky and privileged enough to have seen Beckenbauer in his last season at Bayern.)

I haven\'t wished for Miro to leave Bremen for Bayern, but now that he is a Bayern player, I just want to say:

Miro, welcome to Bayern! I wish you the best of health and the best of luck, many trophies and all the happiness!

.S.

My apologies for posting in English. While I can read Chinese, I cannot type Chinese.
