The team showed a great strength and courage to overcome every setback. Our team has achieved the fourth place in the Liga, which allowes us to play the next edition of the UEFA Champions League, and we struggled for the Liga title until the last days of the competition. Furthermore, our way in the UEFA Champions League led us to be among the eight best teams in Europe. <br/><br/>Once the competition’s engagements are over, it’s time to analyze, to reflect and to take the appropriate decisions in order to start right now the new sports project for the next season. We should strengthen those sports and management aspects that can make our club bigger, so we can consolidate us among the best european and world clubs.<br/><br/>The purpose of the board of directors has always been and will always be to do our best for Valencia CF, so it can be a pride for all of us. That’s why, during the next days, we’ll share the joy and the enthusiasm of knowing the new players that will strengthen our team, whose trainer is and will be Quique Sánchez Flores. Moreover, and following the club’s policy specified by the current board of directors, we will soon communicate the name of our new sports director.
