<DIV>23.01.2005/ Erik Zabel hasn\'t been having it easy recently: last October the T-Mobile sprinter broke a heel bone after falling from a ladder at his home. On Saturday, the last day of the training camp in Majorca, he fell victim to another freak incident, suffering minor injuries to the face and arm.

The cause of the accident was a stray dog, which ran into the middle of Zabel\'s training group catching the sprinter in full flight and sending him crashing to the tarmac. Team doctor Lothar Heinrich was on hand to examine the sprinter and fortuntately no serious damage to Zabel was reported.

Heinrich: \"It looked worse than it actually was. The cheek wounds didn\'t require stitches. Erik is just lucky to emerge from this with only small cuts, bruising and a bit of a fright. This won\'t interfere with his training plans.\"</DIV></DIV></DIV>
