It was a very good season, but that\'s probably the same for most drivers in their first year.Everything is new and exciting: the tracks,the technical side and some of the countries.I\'m in the F1 the biggest thing that you learnt this year?<br/>A: There was no single thing,because I learnt a lot,both in and out of the car.The races in F1 are much longer than in Formula 3 and the qualifying format is very different,so there was a lot to take in.It also took me a while to get used to the way in which the car\'s performance varies between light and heavy fuel loads.That\'s probably the biggets difference between F1 and any other category that I\'ve your approach to F1 at any stage?<br/>A: In terms of how I drove the car,no.My lap times were very consistent all year.However,at the beginning of the campaign,I was a bit too keen at the start of races--I always wanted to overtake 10 cars into the first corner.After I ended up in the barriers at Monaco,and again in Canada.I had a talk with myself.I knew it would get better after improvement was Spyker\'s B-spec car?<br/>A: It had a little bit more downforce and less drag,which gained us about 0.5s per lap.At some tracks the gain was more,at others it was less.But there is still a lot of work to do because Toro Rosso have improved as well,so we\'re nearly on the back row again.We need another big step before next season--0.5s is just not the B-spec car easier to drive?<br/>A: It felt very similar to the old car because,mechanically,it was similar to the old one.The main difference was that we had more grip in the high-speed corners impact did that have on you and the team?<br/>A: It was no problem for me.I always want to beat my team-mate and,in a way,it was better to have lots of them because it provided me with more people to beat!It was also interesting to compare the driving styles of different drivers.It was probably a bit disruptive for the team,but I don\'t think that it was a problem.Look at what Markus[Winkelhock] did at the your emotions after scoring your first world championship point at Fuji?<br/>A: It was very nice,although confirmation of the result came quite a long time after the race.Luckily,I was still at the track.It felt like a win for the team.Our goal for the season was to get a point,so we had a party afterwards.Japan is my favourite country because I had a lot of success in F3 there in \'06 and this year it was my most successful Did you enjoy living in Japan?<br/>A: I lived in Gotemba,which is a lovely place,and I spent a lot of time at Fuji.I know the track very well--I did a lot of testing there.Tokyo is also fantastic.I Germany?<br/>A: I\'m getting more well known,but that\'s normal because the longer you are in F1,the more fans you have.When people recognise me it\'s good--it\'s certainly not a step forward.It\'s hard to race at the back of the field the whole time,and everyone--including Vijay[Mallya,new owner of the team]--is really motivated to move up the grid.I have a good feeling about \'08.The team\'s Indian connection[Spyker is now Force India Formula One]is very exciting.I like curry,too,so there\'s a lot to look forward your team-mate next season?<br/>A: A strong team-mate is always good because it means you push each other,and that brings you closer to the limit.There are many drivers on the list for the other friends with Lewis Hamilton.Have you been surprised by his performances in the McLaren this year?<br/>A: At the start of the season,I was one of the few people who said he\'d beat[Fernando]Alonso and I\'m pleased to say it turned out to be the case.If I\'m totally honest with you,I didn\'t expect him to challenge for the world championship in his first year,but I knew he\'d be very
