They and their 20 rivals report back on a tightly-contested qualifying...</p><p><strong>Lewis Hamilton, McLaren (1st, 1m 12.331s):<br/></strong>“To be on pole once again within a week is fantastic - I like North America! The fans here have been so enthusiastic and supportive for the team, and I hope they enjoyed today. I screamed into my helmet when I got the confirmation from the team of the pole position. It’s a challenge to come to a track for the first time, and I have learnt new things every single corner and every single lap. I knew I had to push very hard in my second run in Q3. The car is working well, and the team has done a great job - for us to have both cars on the front row is a real advantage, and hopefully the team will be able to make the best of it in tomorrow’s race.”<br/><br/><b>Fernando Alonso, McLaren (2nd, 1m 12.500s):</b><br/>“I have had a really quick car all weekend and have been fastest in all practice sessions and the first two parts of qualifying. As a result I’m extremely confident for the race tomorrow and am pleased that the team occupy the front row. I was pushing hard on my last qualifying lap and whilst I was slightly up in the first sector it was not quite enough as I lost some time in the second sector. However the car is working well, and we have had consistent lap times. The two tyre options we have this weekend are close in their performances which gives us reason to be optimistic for the race tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to it and hope that I can continue my best ever performance at Indianapolis so far.”<br/><br/><b>Felipe Massa, Ferrari (3rd, 1m 12.703s):</b><br/>\"I am pretty satisfied and think we can have a strong race tomorrow. We cannot be completely happy about this result but we must not be hard on ourselves either. It would have been difficult to get pole and third place means I will start from a good grid position. We know we can count on a very consistent car in terms of race pace. The start will also play an important part, as will strategy. We will try and make up some place and get the best position possible.\"<br/><br/><b>Kimi Raikkonen, Ferrari (4th, 1m 12.839s):</b><br/>\"All in all, fourth place is quite a good result. It was a very close session and we have to take into account the difference in weights between the cars, something which we will not have an answer to until tomorrow afternoon. Of course, I would like to always be ahead of everyone and there is always room for improvement but I think we can have a good race. It is important that there are no other cars between us and our main rivals. The car has gone well so far this weekend, especially in terms of delivering consistent performance on a long run. We will do our best to bring home a good result.\"<br/><br/><b>Nick Heidfeld, BMW Sauber (5th, 1m 12.847s):</b><br/>“The balance of the car was better today, but I am not really happy with my qualifying as on the last lap I didn’t get it right in the last corner. I had some graining with the tyres and obviously was too aggressive and slid a bit away from racing line, otherwise I think I could have qualified in front of the Ferraris. In Montreal our car was very good over the race distance, so I hope we can continue like this.”<br/><br/><b>Heikki Kovalainen, Renault (6th, 1m 13.308s):</b><br/>“It was a good qualifying session for me, continuing a good weekend so far. The car balance felt OK, the set-up is good and I was comfortable on both types of tyre all the way through qualifying. We have improved the car throughout the weekend, and just had a normal weekend. I have always been confident that things would start going better for me, and I haven\'t made any mistakes or lost any track time here in Indy. When that happens, you can push to the limit and get the maximum from the car. That\'s what has made the difference compared to last weekend, and now we have to focus on the race. We will have a good strategy and the car is handling well. I\'m feeling confident.”<br/><br/><b>Sebastian Vettel, BMW Sauber (7th, 1m 13.513s):</b><br/>“It was a thrilling as you have three different sessions and three times the opportunity to either do a good lap or a bad lap. Towards the end I could have been a bit better, but making it into qualifying three was already a big step. I shall sleep better tonight because last night I had the unknown ahead about what will happen. However, yesterday I think we had a very good day and today also was not too bad. Here I shall be racing against the best drivers in the world, which is a big challenge, and the race is a bit longer than I am used to. Now I am much more familiar with the car and really looking forward to the race and another good thing is that P7 is on the clean side.”<br/><br/><b>Jarno Trulli, Toyota (8th, 1m 13.789s):</b><br/>“It is great to be here in eighth on the grid and to be honest I did not expect this. So I am very satisfied with our day and I have to say thanks to everyone in the team who have worked hard all weekend. We managed a smooth qualifying session without any problems even though the times were very tight and that made it hard. There wasn’t much grip at the start of Q1 but the track improved. The car seemed well balanced and it was quite quick so I was reasonably happy with that. But we will have to wait and see how it feels over long runs in the race tomorrow. I am happy with the result today. It gives me a good chance to score more points so I am quite optimistic for the race.”<br/><br/><b>Mark Webber, Red Bull (9th, 1m 13.871s):</b><br/>“I’m actually very pleased with that. We’ve had a bit of tricky weekend so far, so it was good to get some extra time on the track in today’s third qualifying session. It’s encouraging. It’s very, very tight in the middle group and, as this is quite an easy track to over-drive, you’ve got to be a bit patient here, which isn’t easy for guys like us!”<br/><br/><b>Giancarlo Fisichella, Renault (10th, 13.953s):</b><br/>“It was important to be in the top ten today, and to confirm the progress we have made with the car. I had a clean lap at the end of the second round of qualifying, and the pace of the car was good. I was suffering from understeer on some parts of the track during the weekend, but we made some changes before qualifying and the balance was pretty good, the best I have had so far this weekend. I am looking forward to tomorrow\'s race, as the car has been consistent and quick all weekend.”<br/><br/><b>David Coulthard, Red Bull (11th, 1m 12.873s):</b><br/>“That was a little bit messy. I had a spin in the first qualifying section, when I lost the back end of the car at the end of the back straight. The car shifts between oversteer and understeer, depending on the corner and how aggressively you brake, so it’s tricky to drive, but the pace was there to make it into the top ten. On the last run I picked up a couple of tenths in the first sector, but then lost it in the middle. It’s frustrating, as if you’re in one of the top three teams you know you’re going to get through well, but in the competitive mid-section of the grid, you can finish anywhere between seventh and 16th.”<br/><br/><b>Ralf Schumacher, Toyota (12th, 1m 12.920s):</b><br/>“The qualifying went pretty well actually. We were just a bit unlucky that we missed out on the top 10 by less than a 10th of a second. I had a little traffic on my first run in Q1 but we got a clean lap at the end of the session. Between the two sessions, we made a small change to the front wing and the car was a little bit nervous on my last flying lap in Q2. You can see we are getting closer to where we want to be because today it was possible to get into the top 10. That’s how it goes sometimes. But it is a long race tomorrow and we can now adjust our complete race strategy, which is a slight advantage. I would prefer to be starting higher up the grid but in general qualifying wasn’t so bad and I am now looking forward to tomorrow.”<br/><br/><b>Jenson Button, Honda (13th, 1m 12.998s):</b><br/>\"The car felt good for my first run in Q1, then I had some problems getting started again after the weighbridge and after that the car felt very different. I had to keep having adjustments made to the front wing and we struggled to find a good balance round the whole lap. I got all of the performance possible out of the car for my final run in Q2 and that\'s where we are really. The times were very close with some of the cars just in front of me, which is a surprise. We will have to see what happens in the race.\"<br/><br/><b>Nico Rosberg, Williams (14th, 1m 13.060s):</b><br/>\"Today was more difficult than yesterday. I thought I could improve my times but I didn\'t. I glazed my brakes a little bit in traffic and when they cool down too much they don\'t work very well. After that, I could not hit the brakes as hard as I\'d have liked to. <br/><br/>\"There was something missing out there today, the package wasn\'t working as well as it should so I just couldn\'t get enough out of it. We now need to work out a good strategy to achieve something positive out of my starting position.\"<br/><br/><b>Rubens Barrichello, Honda (15th, 1m 13.201s):</b><br/>\"It has been a tough day for us today. It was very hard to get a real balance in the car and from run to run it felt very different. I had a lot of oversteer on my final run in Q2, so that didn\'t help me right at the end. I did as much as I could today and am disappointed not to make it into the third qualifying session. We will have to hope that our strategy allows us to make the most of any opportunity to improve during the race and move us through the field.\" <br/><br/><b>Anthony Davidson, Super Aguri (16th, 1m 13.259s):</b><br/>“The team did a really good job today to get me out there into qualifying this afternoon after I tapped the wall in the last practice session. I had to change over to the T-car and there was a big buzz in the garage - they did a great job. It\'s brilliant to get through to Q2. It was a great achievement today and so we\'re looking forward to the race tomorrow.”<br/><br/><b>Alexander Wurz, Williams (17th, 1m 13.441s):</b><br/>\"Today was not good. My first run was fine and the car felt ok, but the second was not great. I had a problem with the balance of the car which cost me about half a second in the first sector and that took me totally by surprise. I\'m annoyed because I felt it was going to go well today, like I\'d get into the top ten, so this is disappointing.\"<br/><br/><b>Takuma Sato, Super Aguri (18th, 1m 13.477s):</b><br/>“It was a very tough day. I wasn\'t fully happy with the car this morning, so we changed the set-up for the qualifying session. It was better but there was traffic during my first run and in the second I went a little deep in Turn One and locked up the front wheel so I lost a good couple of tenths then. Sectors Two and Three were okay, but I needed another half a tenth to get into Q2. It\'s a shame, but hopefully we have a strong car and I\'ll have a good race tomorrow.”<br/><br/><b>Vitantonio Liuzzi, Toro Rosso (19th, 1m 13.484s):</b><br/>\"As we saw yesterday it was quite difficult to find a good balance. I am disappointed not to have made it through to Q2 but the gap to those ahead is really small and in fact the gaps all the way from the top are close. I am not getting downhearted because I know we have major improvements on the way and we just have to do the best we can with what we have until they come on stream. I think at the moment we are getting the maximum out of this car and are not too far behind those just ahead of us. It\'s going to be a long hard race but I plan to keep fighting to the end.\"<br/><br/><b>Scott Speed, Toro Rosso (20th, 1m 13.712s):</b><br/>\"After yesterday\'s practice we knew we were going to struggle in qualifying. The guys in front of us are not so far away and we made some big improvements on the car just before qualifying, so at least I am going into the race with a much better car than I had earlier. We are quick down the straight because we have to be set up like this as we are down on acceleration and so need to take off a lot of wing. The trade off is that we are sliding a lot in the infield section. But maybe this will give us a race car we can do something with tomorrow. Our reliability so far this weekend has been okay and I hope that continues.\"<br/><br/><b>Adrian Sutil, Spyker (21st, 1m 14.122s):</b><br/>“The first run was OK. I had some traffic on my first lap, but the second lap was better. Then the last run with the new tyres was difficult as I had some problems with the front tyres and had a lock-up and went wide in the first corner. In general the session was OK, but of course could have been better. With the long straights and the high-banked corners here it should be a fantastic race tomorrow, as compared to other tracks, it should be quite easy to overtake other cars.”<br/><br/><b>Christijan Albers, Spyker (22nd, 1m 14.597s):</b><br/>“It was not really a bad qualifying; we did our best. Everyone is quite close together and it\'s not easy to do a quick lap time. I was looking for a tow and I didn\'t have one, but I had already lost some time before I arrived at the first corner, which was quite a shame. Hopefully tomorrow we will have a good car and be able to race the cars in front as we did in Montreal.”</p>

Quite a surprise, to be honest. Going into qualifying, we hadn’t really found the best, the optimal set-up and I knew that Fernando is obviously extremely quick here. But it’s great to see that the team is so quick and ahead of the Ferraris obviously, but going into that qualifying session I just had to pull it all out and my two last laps in Q3 were spot on and I think I just beat my best lap at the end. So I couldn’t be happier. I didn’t really expect to be on pole. I thought Fernando would have been quicker, but obviously not.<br/><br/><b>Q: Yes, your second lap just quicker but not purple on any sector, but a slight drama last night when they had to change the race engine before you came out this morning and we hear also you’ve got a little bit of hay fever. <br/>LH:</b> No, I wouldn’t say I’ve got hay fever. Yesterday… I haven’t been getting much sleep lately, probably just enjoying it too much! But yesterday I didn’t feel great. But yeah, they had to change the engine. I think it was an assembly problem or something but the engine performed very well, so obviously I’m ecstatic. I really didn’t expect to get pole again but I am very, very pleased and happy for the team. <br/><br/><b>Q: Fernando, in many ways commiserations to you: fastest in every session so far except the all-important Q3, just beaten for the pole. <br/>Fernando Alonso:</b> Yeah, it has been a good weekend for me, no doubt, and I was fastest in P1, P2, P3, Q1, Q2 but not the important one, Q3. But being fastest all weekend gives me a lot of confidence for tomorrow. Yes, Q3, we know, is a different matter and you place many many factors in Q3 so… I think we can have a strong race tomorrow and I have confidence. <br/><br/><b>Q: What were those last five minutes of Q3 like for you in terms of the two laps you were able to do on those tyres? <br/>FA:</b> They were OK. I think both sets of tyres were really really close to a timed lap and I didn’t improve too much in the second. I think it was a little bit worse and I had quite good grip in the car and I was quite happy with the laps as well, so I think tomorrow we can do really well. <br/><br/><b>Q: Felipe, it looks as if Ferrari are definitely closer to McLaren Mercedes than they were in Canada. I guess it’s a surprise that we have to say that. What’s the car like from your point of view? <br/>Felipe Massa:</b> Well, for sure a bit closer but not enough, so we need to be in front, not be closer. But for sure, the situation is a little bit better than in Canada. Canada was a pretty difficult weekend for us. Here, starting third, second row, is not a disaster. We know that McLaren is going to be strong in the race as they were in every session, so we need to work hard. We need to fight until the end and that’s what I’m going to do tomorrow. <br/><br/><b>Q: Where do you feel the difference is now between the Ferrari and the McLaren Mercedes? <br/>FM:</b> It’s not something which we really want to say. It’s something we need to understand and try to do better in our car. We should be in front of them. We have some ideas in the car, in the aerodynamics, in the engine just to improve the situation but we need to do it as quick as possible.<br/><br/><b>Q: Returning to you, Lewis, the first time you\'ve raced in the United States. Your thoughts on the atmosphere here, on getting the pole here at Indianapolis and indeed the Speedway itself.<br/>LH:</b> Getting my second pole is even better than obviously last week, you know, but again when I came across the line and the team told me I had P1, again I was screaming in my helmet and just through the whole lap just extremely ecstatic. But the audience, the crowd here has been fantastic. I can see outside my garage over in the grandstands someone has a Vodafone McLaren Mercedes sign with Lewis on it. So it\'s great to see. And there are a lot of British flags out there, but also a lot of support from the Americans. So we\'re very happy.<br/><br/><b>RESS CONFERENCE<br/><br/>Q: Lewis, two laps that were good enough for pole.<br/>LH:</b> Yeah, I was quite surprised, to be honest, mainly because obviously it\'s my first time here. I haven\'t really been performing as good as Fernando has. Going into qualifying, just throughout the whole weekend I\'m always trying to find that little bit more, little bit more. And each time I go out I improve and improve. Sometimes you go out and you don\'t improve but you learn from it. Going through the whole of qualifying I was finding bits of time through my driving, and saw certain places where I could find time. Going into my qualifying lap in Q3, the car felt very good. I made certain adjustments on my steering wheel and the balance was very good and I managed to get a very clear lap. And then going into my second Q lap, I knew that Fernando would obviously be pushing extremely hard as well as everyone else. And I managed to pull out… I think, it was a tenth in the first sector but I lost it in the middle sector, so I was a bit nervous about that. But I managed to gain some of it back going across the line, so a little bit faster again. But I was quite surprised to see that Fernando didn\'t match it or do better.<br/><br/><b>Q: How hard have you had to work on that middle sector? Because that\'s the technical bit, isn\'t it?<br/>LH:</b> It is, and experience is everything here, so the more and more I get out on the track, the faster I get. I think yesterday, straight away I got into the first sector and the last sector, which are not the hardest sectors to do, but I was still quite quick there and I was losing, I think, half a second or something in the middle sector. So that\'s where I\'ve really had to work away and chip away at it step by step. It\'s got better and better. As you saw, I didn\'t do purple sectors but I just was very, very consistent. That\'s the key obviously.<br/><br/><b>Q: Just clarify for us, you had a new race engine but there\'s no penalty for that, is there?<br/>LH:</b> No, because we were all going to…this weekend everyone has a new engine or the majority do have a new engine this weekend. So it was going to be the engine we would use. But before we allocated it, we had to swap it because… well, we had a certain problem with it.<br/><br/><b>Q: Fernando, it sounded like Lewis expected you to be on pole position, and Peter was sort of saying you had all the times but obviously you could have been on pole, couldn’t you?<br/>FA:</b> Well, I don\'t think so. I\'m second and one-tenth-and-a-half or whatever behind, so I did my maximum in Q3. It’s true that it has been a very good weekend so far for me, on top always, yesterday and this morning, in Q1 and Q2. So that\'s made me very confident for tomorrow, having a good race. I think I have the pace and the weekend so far has been good so why not tomorrow.<br/><br/><b>Q: Who would you prefer to be fighting, Ferrari or your team-mate?<br/>FA:</b> My team-mate, because that means that the team is doing well and we can take some advantage from Ferrari.<br/><br/><b>Q: Felipe, are you as competitive as you hoped here?<br/>FM:</b> When I\'m behind, no. When we are behind we are never 100 percent satisfied, for sure. The situation looks a little bit better compared to Canada. But, you know, it just needs a little bit more.<br/><br/><b>Q: Do you think you have the strategy to carry the fight to McLaren during the race?<br/>FM:</b> I don’t know. We thought we had the strategy to compete in Canada but the strategy was completely the other way around. So in the race tomorrow… we will see. Hopefully we can have a good strategy for whatever kind of race<br/><br/><b>Q: Are you feeling confident?<br/>FM:</b> Yeah, for sure, we never give up. McLaren, in the last three races, putting this race in as well, have made a step forward. We have had some trouble in these races. But we have the team, we have the group and we have the car to improve, hopefully we can have a fantastic race tomorrow. But you know it is time to improve the car as quickly as possible to have a good fight with McLaren in the next races. But I’m looking forward to tomorrow and tomorrow I will fight them until the end.<br/><br/><b>QUESTIONS FROM THE FLOOR<br/><br/>Q: (Fabritsio Lazakis – Four Wheels Magazine) Fernando, was your last lap perfect or did you make any mistakes?<br/>FA:</b> It was good. I think as we said before, I was up one-tenth [of a second] in the first sector and I lost it again in the second sector so it was quite similar to the previous lap and I didn’t improve the lap by half a tenth or something like that. It’s on the limit. We are all on the limit. Sometimes you find one-tenth when you didn’t expect a mistake and sometimes you lose some and you don’t know why. No, the lap was very good, no big problems.<br/><br/><b>Q: (Paulo Ianieri – La Gazzetta dello Sport) Felipe, when you came here to Indianapolis you said this was a track that was supposed to suit Ferrari much better than Canada. Are you surprised that they [McLaren] are still in front?<br/>FM:</b> When you see them in front in the last two races you cannot say that this is a surprise because they are already quite strong in the last two races. But we expected to be better than at Canada, which we are. So I don’t know if it is enough to win the race tomorrow… But I believe we need to fight and thinking for the next race already, we have two weekends, two weeks to work on the car and it will be very good to bring our best to the next race. I think we are better than Canada and I am confident for tomorrow as well.<br/><br/><b>Q: (Paolo Ianieri – La Gazzetta dello Sport) What is the main problem that you are facing? The tyres? Or the set-up?<br/>FM:</b> I think in terms of set-up, we have worked over the weekend to find the best set-up and we have found a good set-up. We were just missing a little bit of speed compared to McLaren. So that’s it.<br/><br/><b>Q: (Dave Kallmann – Milwaukee Journal Sentinel) Lewis in this country there seems to be a real urge to compare you with Tiger Woods, or refer to you as the Tiger Woods of motor racing. Is that fair? Is that accurate? Can you do anything for the profile of Formula One in the United States like Tiger did for golf?<br/>LH:</b> I don’t really know what to say to that to be honest. It’s obviously nice to be compared to somebody like Tiger Woods but you just have to remember I’m not Tiger Woods, I’m Lewis Hamilton and this is Formula One it is not golf. Whether or not it can have a similar impact on the audience in America? I’m not sure. It will be good for the sport if it can. I hope my purpose here serves its place. <br/><br/><b>Q: (Carlos Miquel – Diario AS) Question for Fernando, in the last stages of your last lap you braked to save fuel?<br/>FA:</b> Yes. Yes because I can see the time I will do here on the steering wheel. I knew it was slower than before so we started thinking about tomorrow’s race.<br/><br/><b>Q: (Jérome Bourret – L’Equipe) A question for Lewis. Last week you started from first position in Montreal. Have you learned something about starting first in Formula One or was it just the same as GP2?<br/>LH:</b> No, it wasn\'t the same as GP2. Obviously I had a bad start in Canada, but it\'s just a different experience and there are definitely some things I\'ve taken from it. To see how aggressive some of the drivers are… You know you have to be cautious but at the same time you want to keep your spot. I just have to make sure tomorrow I get a good start and try to defend my position. You can\'t win the race in the first corner, you have to get around and be safe and bring it home. So that\'s going to be my target.</span></p>

So far it’s gone well for the young German - he qualified seventh, outpacing the likes of Jarno Trulli, Mark Webber and Giancarlo Fisichella. We asked him how it felt…</span></p><p><span class=\"articleTeaser\"><strong>Q: Since Thursday’s announcement it must seem like your world’s been turned upside down. How did it feel? Have you been able to sleep? What’s been on your mind the last 48 hours? <br/>Sebastian Vettel:</strong> To prepare for the first Grand prix is anything but an everyday situation so you can understand that a lot was going on emotionally. But it would be wrong to think that I was ‘on holiday’ at the last races where I did not do the Friday practice. I was in permanent contact with the engineers, listened carefully to what they told me and extracted the most info I possibly could out of the conversations. And it might surprise you, but I sleep very well. True, Thursday and Friday nights were a little agitated, as I have not been in the car for quite a while, but with the qualifying result today I know that I shouldn’t have felt worried. <br/><br/><b>Q: How does it feel to be one of the 22 fastest men in the world on four wheels? <br/>SV:</b> To be one of them does not trigger a specific feeling, but to race against them makes me quite proud. Why was that?<br/>SV:</b> In the series I am driving at the moment we also have pit stops, but this here is another dimension and we have all seen that an uneven pit stop has ruined many a good race result. I simply wanted to make sure that I internalize every step - how many people are around, which hands I have to concentrate on and which signals - to be 100 percent prepared for Sunday. <br/><br/><b>Q: Your first qualifying - how did you prepare for that? <br/>SV:</b> Before qualifying I took a little ‘nap’, recapping the track corner by corner, trying to remember what is important. Once in the car I concentrated on every single lap knowing that with new tyres the first lap is mostly the fastest. Sure I knew that there are three stints, but that was not really on my mind when driving. It was simply big fun to race as the car, especially in the second stint, is quite light and it always still fascinates me to see how big a potential these cars have. <br/><br/><b>Q: How did it feel after you made it through to Q3?<br/>SV:</b> I did not go into qualifying with any expectations. From the morning session we knew that everything was running smoothly and that it should suffice for Q3, which it did in the end, but I was rather unconcerned about it. I just wanted to do a good lap - wherever it would take me. <br/><br/><b>Q: But you must be pretty excited about being seventh on the grid?<br/>SV:</b> Oh sure. In general I am quite satisfied, but with hindsight it is a natural thing that you always think it could have gone better, especially in Q3. But yeah, I am pretty happy. <br/><br/><b>Q: Do you realise that if you score points tomorrow you would be the youngest driver ever to do so? <br/>SV:</b> No, I was not aware of that. Sure I have the sound ambition to score points, but more important for me is to finish tomorrow’s race. <br/><br/><b>Q: The first corner will be crucial - does that make you nervous? <br/>SV:</b> True, you approach this corner quite fast and it could get quite tight. But as the others are no idiots and know what they are doing, I am not concerned at all about it.</span></p>

<p>F1美国站上演迈凯轮内战 汉密尔顿击败阿隆索夺冠</p><p><a href=\"http://sports.sina.com.cn/f1/2007-06-18/02352988436.shtml\">http://sports.sina.com.cn/f1/2007-06-18/02352988436.shtml</a></p><p>新浪体育讯 北京时间6月18日凌晨,F1美国大奖赛在印第安纳波利斯赛道结束。英国车手汉密尔顿在一场迈凯轮内战中获胜,摘得本赛季第二个分站冠军。屈居比赛亚军的阿隆索打破魔咒首次在美国登上领奖台。法拉利车队巴西车手马萨险胜芬兰队友莱科宁取得比赛季军。F1美国站赛后,汉密尔顿以58个积分领先阿隆索10分继续领衔车手积分榜;车队积分榜迈凯轮达到106分并以35分的优势领先法拉利。F1世锦赛下站比赛将于7月8日在英国举行。</p><p>  美国大奖赛的举办地点印第安纳波利斯赛道是美国赛车运动的摇篮,F1比赛将在椭圆赛道的一条大直道和它的内场中进行。全场比赛为73圈。比赛开始时空气温度35度,赛道表面温度53度。本站比赛迈凯轮车队包揽发车前排,汉密尔顿获得杆位。</p><p>    <strong>发车:莱科宁跌两位 三车退赛</strong>
        </p><p>  阿隆索起步后试图超越杆位得主汉密尔顿。汉密尔顿发现阿隆索的企图后拉到内线进行封堵,于是阿隆索又拉到外线。进入1号弯前阿隆索仍没有领先汉密尔顿,两部迈凯轮赛车次序不变。第二排的法拉利遭到宝马的袭击,莱科宁被第五位的海德菲尔德在直道加速超越,随后进一号弯时又被科瓦莱宁从外线超越。马萨保持在第三位,而莱科宁掉到第六。印第安纳波利斯赛道的一号弯如同一个漏斗,车队中部赛车抢着进入时发生剐蹭,小舒马赫、库特哈德以及巴里切罗都因为事故提前退赛,维特尔也受到牵连掉到了第十位。</p><p>  不甘心的阿隆索在第一圈向汉密尔顿发起猛攻,但是他的速度不足以超车。从第二圈开始,汉密尔顿逐渐控制住局面,并分别在在第四圈和第五圈做出最快圈速,1分13秒681使他成为最先进入1分14秒以内的车手。阿隆索很快就失去了开始时的凶悍,他甚至逐渐无法跟住队友。马萨的速度也不足以紧跟阿隆索,他和海德菲尔德守在三、四位。科瓦莱宁和莱科宁两位芬兰车手则为第五名争得非常激烈。莱科宁的速度虽然略快,但是无法超车。</p><p>  赛道上最精彩的镜头出现在车队中后段。本来排在第八位的费斯切拉因为失误策划跌到最后一位。意大利老将驾驶R27开始疯狂超车,尤其是与巴顿的竞争最为精彩:两部赛车在数个弯道时而并驾齐驱时而互换位置。排位赛失常的小罗斯伯格也做出了精彩的超车。</p><p>    <strong>第一次进站:科瓦首次领先 冰人上演超车</strong></p><p>  阿隆索终于在第18圈做出最快圈速1分13秒537。不过他的队友汉密尔顿更是在第19圈和第20圈连续两次改写最快圈速,定格为1分13秒222。汉密尔顿在与阿隆索的对抗中始终不落下风。第21圈汉密尔顿率先进站,此时他领先阿隆索3秒。马萨和海德菲尔德也同时进站。第22圈阿隆索进站,出站后将差距缩小到2秒。</p><p>  当莱科宁进站后,科瓦莱宁暂时独自领先,这是这位芬兰新秀在F1赛场首次取得领先。可惜好戏不长,科瓦莱宁选择在第27圈完成进站回到赛道上时很不巧的被莱科宁与海德菲尔德同时超过。此前,莱科宁在直道超越了海德菲尔德,这是芬兰人本赛季以来最漂亮的一次驾控动作。</p><p>  完成第一次进站后的阿隆索速度大增,几圈内他就再次逼近了队友汉密尔顿,两部迈凯轮赛车的距离只有不到1秒。第三位的马萨则被甩开,30圈的时候巴西人已经落后银箭超过10秒。采取重油策略没有进站的罗斯伯格暂时排到了第四位,他身后压着状态回勇的莱科宁,以及海德菲尔德和科瓦莱宁。</p><p>  阿隆索在第38圈找到机会尝试超车,他进入直道时已经咬住汉密尔顿的车尾,并在直道从外线抽头。和发车时的情况相似,进入弯道前阿隆索的进攻不足以完成超越。不过这次袭击似乎让阿隆索找到了信心,后来数圈他都在直道抽头以对汉密尔顿制造压力。</p><p>    <strong>第二次进站:银箭红魔内战爆发 汉密尔顿笑到最后</strong></p><p>  阿隆索和汉密尔顿分别在第50圈和第51圈先后进站,阿隆索加油时间6.5秒,汉密尔顿为7.1秒,出站后汉密尔顿仍然在阿隆索前面。和比赛开始阶段一样,同时使用硬胎时阿隆索无法接近汉密尔顿,两位车手之间的距离一直在2秒左右徘徊。</p><p>  法拉利车队也形成竞争,莱科宁利用软胎在第49圈做出最快圈速1分13秒117。芬兰人在即将追上马萨时的第51圈完成第二次进站。马萨完成进站后两部法拉利也咬在了一起。</p><p>  两位法拉利车手此时选用的轮胎不同,马萨是硬胎,莱科宁软胎。最后的10圈莱科宁的圈速比马萨更快。莱科宁在比赛的尾声向马萨发起冲击,软胎的莱科宁在内场的低速路段优势明显,但是狭窄的赛道令超车很难。到了大直道时硬胎的马萨略占优势,于是可以稍做喘息。随着莱科宁软胎的退化,进攻逐渐减弱,两位法拉利车手次序没有发生改变。</p><p> <p>我觉得,车的问题是首要的,没有好车拿什么和人家竞争…… <img src=\"images/post/smile/dvbbs/em07.gif\" /></p><p>顶尖车手缺位红魔颜色褪尽 法拉利已有不能承受之重</p><p><a href=\"http://sports.sina.com.cn/f1/2007-06-18/04032988657.shtml\">http://sports.sina.com.cn/f1/2007-06-18/04032988657.shtml</a></p><p>新浪体育讯 去年,迈克尔-舒马赫和罗斯-布朗的离开预示着法拉利即将迎来一个新的时代,但这个时代未必是辉煌的。至少2007赛季的7场比赛之后,法拉利没有能够延续上赛季后半段的势头,而是在与迈凯轮的竞争中显出了疲态,红魔的红色正在褪去,但车队现有的资源似乎没有能力来扭转这一切,法拉利是不是到了需要改变的时刻?</p><p>  <strong>F2007:加长的轴距用意何在?</strong></p><p>  本赛季F1统一使用了普利斯通轮胎,在11支车队中,只有法拉利将其赛车F2007的轴距加长。法拉利的与众不同给人以无尽的遐想。但是8站比赛过去了,加长的轴距给人最深刻的印象就是在狭窄的摩纳哥赛道上的一败涂地。到了美国站,原本应该在直道和高速弯角发挥优势的F2007也被MP4-22无情的拉开了20秒的差距。法拉利F2007的长轴距是专为普利斯通的轮胎而优化的吗?如果答案的确如此,那么法拉利显然下错了赌注,因为即便普利斯通在下半年推出大幅度改进的轮胎,法拉利也已经耗费了半年的时间来等待这一刻的到来,得不偿失。</p><p>  <strong>空气动力学:法拉利已经落后</strong></p><p>  自从迈凯轮的MP4-22引入桥型前翼以及里卡德测试之后,性能天平的指向发生了明显的变化。当然,空气动力学套件的变化是非常复杂的,不过有一点可以佐证法拉利目前在空气动力学的研发上落后于迈凯轮:那就是近几站F2007与MP4-22的差距都非常大,但引擎以及轮胎都没有很大的变化,唯一的解释就是F2007在弯道中的速度要逊色MP4-22不少,也就是空气动力学性能上,F2007已经落后于MP4-22。</p><p>  <strong>车手阵容:“一流”车手的组合</strong></p><p>  根据雷诺车队主席阿兰-达萨斯的划分,F1车手可以分为顶尖和一流。单就今年的表现来看,法拉利的两位车手最多只能算一流,尤其是莱科宁,这位被法拉利高薪挖来接替舒马赫的车手目前的积分还不如收入远少于自己的队友马萨。</p><p>  当然,马萨的表现也只能算是“一流”。回顾去年的比赛,还有今年的几场马萨与阿隆索的直接较量中,马萨均是完全处于下风。马萨在大多数情况下只能跑顺风车,也就是杆位出发。一旦要追赶对手,尤其是阿隆索,马萨的胜算就要小很多。</p><p>  莱科宁对阿隆索的战绩要比马萨好些,但本赛季至今除了加拿大站的最后一阶段之外,莱科宁鲜有直接对话阿隆索的机会。莱科宁现在的处境非常尴尬,在四位车手中,莱科宁排第四的时候居多。美国站的最后阶段,即使在轮胎的选择上优于队友,莱科宁也拿马萨没有丝毫的办法。芬兰冰人的低迷一半原因可以归咎于赛车状态的糟糕,另外的一半要算在“磨合期”的头上,因为莱科宁和舒马赫是两位完全不同的车手:看起来车王更为敬业,而莱科宁把娱乐和工作分得很清楚。</p><p>  不管怎么样,法拉利引进莱科宁是希望他来夺冠的,莱科宁也具备顶尖车手的素质,这也是蒙特泽莫罗表示Kimi应该尽快拿冠军的原因。留给莱科宁的时间真的不多,法拉利也实在耗不起这么昂贵的磨合期。</p><p>  <strong>新的法拉利,还剩下些什么?</strong></p><p>  从蒙特卡罗到蒙特利尔,再到印第安纳波利斯,法拉利每站比赛之前都有足够的信心,但这三场比赛每次法拉利都是完败迈凯轮。当阿隆索称MP4-22与F2007之间还有差距的时候,F2007的确真的还有优势;反倒是法拉利自己给车迷打气的时候,结果往往就是惨败。三站失利之后,怀念舒马赫的,恐怕不再仅仅是车迷了。车王的价值是什么?是一种赛道上的霸气,舒马赫可以把赛车的能力提升到110%,但现在法拉利的两位车手只能是勉强对付着开这辆不是最强的F2007。</p><p>  法拉利眼下最现实的选择恐怕就是让罗斯-布朗尽快重返车队。让-托德和舒马赫虽然也身处车队,但离开自身角色的他们在车队中发挥的作用是抵不上罗斯-布朗的。在技术上,罗斯-布朗是F1中最优秀的人才之一,制定灵活的比赛战术也是英国人擅长的。“三叉戟”解体之后,法拉利其实什么都没有了,现在到了停止押宝新车队、新架构的时候了,正如法拉利在2000-2004年辉煌时期中的所做的那样,法拉利的成功源自小步前进,而不是“革命性”的变化。</p>

<p>一次失误足以致命 阿隆索需从北美战役汲取教训</p><p><a href=\"http://sports.sina.com.cn/f1/2007-06-18/04312988710.shtml\">http://sports.sina.com.cn/f1/2007-06-18/04312988710.shtml</a></p><p>新浪体育讯 本赛季连续第七次登上领奖台,继加拿大蒙特利尔后二度折桂,目前在车手积分榜上领先排名第二的自己的队友阿隆索10分,英国小将汉密尔顿在北美两站地的表现只能用完美来形容。印第安那波利斯比起蒙特利尔“正常”了不少,迈凯轮和法拉利包揽了本站比赛的前四名,与本赛季之初两队互咬的情况不同的是,法拉利根本对银箭构成不了威胁,内战成为了比赛主流。</p><p>  昨天的排位赛结束后,位列第5位发车的宝马车手海菲尔德就表示正赛能够如何发车将相当关键。对法拉利和迈凯轮来说,情况同样如此。包揽首排发车位置的银箭这次没有任何闪失,阿隆索成功挡住了紧随其后的马萨等人,汉密尔顿也守住了他的领先位置。尽管在轮胎策略上,莱科宁与其他三位有所不同,开跑使用的是中性胎,不过在进站策略上却没有太大出入,不足以制造惊喜。</p><p>  第一次进站后,阿隆索很快超过了前面的特鲁利并渐渐追近队友,行驶至第38圈时,西班牙人在大直道的尽头向队友展开攻势,试图超车,这也是整场比赛中阿隆索最接近汉密尔顿的机会,英国小将控制住了路线,未果。随后的若干圈,阿隆索始终保持着对队友的压力,眼看决定两人胜负的关键点将发生在第二次进站之后,阿隆索在第47圈于第8号弯角一次驶上草地的失误却提前结束了这场比赛的悬念。</p><p>  美国站的结果对阿隆索有两大启发。第一,今后当更加重视排位赛,与队友的竞争将是一场持久战,起跑点的不同很大程度上能决定最后的成绩;第二,在蒙特利尔,阿隆索失误过多,成绩也是差强人意,到了印第安那波利斯,虽然只有那一个,却也足以致命,汉密尔顿能做到的事如果他做不到,结果只能是今天这样。</p><p>  至于法拉利,马萨拿到一个第三已经是相当满意了,第一次进站后,他便已经意识到追赶迈凯轮是一种奢望。法拉利在北美两站被竞争对手全面超越,重新回到欧洲后,该队能否及时提升赛车的竞争力,显得尤为重要。莱科宁今天虽然在发车时继续着霉运,不过由于海菲尔德的失误,加上进站时机的把握,芬兰冰人在第二次进站后也是逐渐逼近队友。比起外战,内战的意义虽然有些缺失,但对车手来说或者更具挑战性。</p><p>  正赛第一个弯角,便有三部赛车因为发生碰撞而相继退出,分别是丰田的拉尔夫、红牛的库塔以及本田的巴里切罗。海菲尔德在第56圈因为液压故障退出了比赛。威廉姆斯车手罗斯伯格则因为赌博性质的一次进站策略在比赛还剩下4圈的时候付出了代价,不过这倒是成全了宝马车队顶替库比卡出战的小将维特尔,这位19岁的小将也成为F1历史上拿到积分年纪最轻的车手。</p><p>  从北美两站的比赛来看,普利司通在轮胎选择方面还是有讲究的,且为各车队制定不同的进站策略提供了条件。目前迈凯轮在双线的优势相当明显,法拉利如果还不拿出办法,将会越来越艰难。</p>
